Green Sand - Air Set - Permanent Mold
Permanent Mold Casting
Foundry Products utilizes the Stahl Tilt Pour Programmable Permanent Mold Machines for high production parts. This process produces a casting with a dense grain structure and exact repeatability. The molds are produced from iron or steel and can last for upward of 200,000 cycles. Our capabilities allow us to set single or multiple cores if required.
Air Set Sand Casting
Foundry Products is capable of pouring up to 150lb Air Set Sand Castings utilizing a Palmer 50 - 150 lb per minute continuous mixer. This state of the art mixer can produce large cores for green sand and air set molds up to 2000 lbs. One (1) piece to one hundred (100) pieces can be produced rapidly with rigid uniformity using this process.
Green Sand Casting
Foundry Products utilizes very fine olivine sand mixed with oil and clay ebonite for their green sand castings. The finish provided is far superior to aluminum castings produced in water-based sand. Flask sizes range from 12"x12" to 24"x24". Casting weights poured range from ounces to 45 pounds.
